Best path to making money blogging?

  • In addition to my summer job I plan to make some money this summer through blogging, primarily about cars. I have a few questions: 1. What non-Google-owned sites can I blog on that have revenue sharing? 2. What sites other than Digg, Reddit, and then smaller sources (IE: 1000 or so Youtube friends) can I use to generate traffic for my blog? 3. I have online banking from my bank to my savings account. Is it possible for me to simply link these revenue-sharing funds directly to my savings account? Thanks for the help.

    blogspot.com is usually the best way to go about blogging. There are so many ways to generate traffic Posting on forums, Twitter, and other social networks to name a few. It depends on what the ads you want to put on your site, and the company you use to do it. More then likely you'll have to use a online payment processor like Paypal or Alertpay though. U may need to purchase a domain so first get urself a paypal account when u get a chance ur gonna want to get a prepaid debt card and put money on that so that u can transfer money to paypal if ur paypal or prepaid debt card identity get stolen it doesnt hurt as bad as ur regular saving account then do a search for domain services ( godaddy, namescheap, etc ) pick one thats right for u now come up wit a name for ur site and see if its available if it is make sure u have atleast $70 and no more than $150 in ur account, and make the purchase If u do a search for free hosting templets u'll find plenty that'll give u different templets that'll let u set up ur site in minutes but u wont have alot of control over where ur blog shows up on search engines If u decide to find ur own hosting pick the on that will let u post all the content u want to post ( pics, videos on youtube or their servers, or any sudio, etc ) for the cheapest but if when u contact them by email an they dont give u all the help u need then switch to someone else Once u get urself a domain thats hosted somewhere (if u used one of the free template services then u can skip this step ) now ur gonna need to download a program to setup ur blog u can try wordpress or one of the many others out there any is ok to use, as long as it'll work w it any text edit proram u have an its easy for u to use then go wit it As far as traffic is concerned u can submit ur site to search engines like google, yahoo, bing, ask, etc and it'll show up as one of their sponsered links Or u can do a search on google seo and things related to SEO but dont pay for any of that stuff, if work hard enough at searching u can get that stuff for free also pay close attention to the content and keywords u use in ur meta name info i can give u more info but ur gonna have to send me an email
