What is a Windows 8 'Child Session?

When I recover a browsing session in IE 9, dozens of windows pop up?

  • On two different computers (running Win 7, one 32 bit, one 64 bit), usually when I restart my computer I close Internet Explorer with Task Manager so I can recover the browsing session when I reopen it. When I do this, I will only have one or two windows open, but upon recovering it DOZENS of windows displaying my homepage pop up. Again, this is an issue on both computers. What's the deal and how do I stop this? And please, no suggestions to use Firefox/Chrome/Opera/Safari - I prefer IE.

  • Answer:

Go to browser options and set every thing to default! as i have left IE many years ago, but the only solution would be to tweak IE ---options
