How to sell on eBay?

How Do I Sell A eBook On eBay?

  • I want to create and sell an eBook on eBay but I don't know how, I mean I checked the Help Section on eBay and I understand most of it until this part where it mentions having to get 'Webspace' and how to upload the eBook and all that kind of stuff. So basically, can someone on here tell me in a simpler way than eBay did, how I can sell a eBook on eBay? I love the fact that the buyer will automatically be given the link to my 'Webspace' to download my eBook once they pay me on PayPal but the fact is, I don't know exactly how to upload my eBook to this 'Web Space'. Another thing, what is Web Space? I mean is there a website that allows people to just upload eBooks or something like that? eBay are telling me to go and make my own Domain Name and then upload it to there, that costs alot of cash. So yeah, can someone tell me how to do this?

Micahel provided you with very clear details on how to do it on Ebay but he failed to mention that there's also a fixed charge for the classified ads. I would recommend you use either Amazon or TripleClicks. See http://solutions.my-ai.com/can-i-sell-digital-goods-on-ebay/ for details.

GTAddict, I applaud you for selling your own ebook on eBay. Information products, in my opinion, are one of the best products to sell on eBay because you get to create something once and then get paid over and over for it. Now to answer your question...how to do it? Step 1 Place your eBook pdf file on your Desktop so it will be easy to find. Step 2 Go to a website called MediaFire (MediaFire is the webspace where your ebook will be) and open up a free account. Once you are logged in, go to "My Files" Step 3 Find and press the "Upload to this Folder" button. Step 4 Now press the "Click Here to Upload" button. (This will take you to where you have your ebook which should be on your desktop from Step 1) Locate your ebook and click on it. Then click on "Begin Uploading files" Step 5 Click on "Return to My Files" then look to your right to find the "share" button. Click on it. This will give you two links, "Sharing URL" and "URL with File Name." Click on URL with File Name. This is the link you will give out when someone pays you via PayPal. You're done! Now Log into eBay. Then find "Sell" at the top right hand corner. Hover over it and click on "sell an item" You will be at the "Select a Category" page. Click on "browse categories". Scroll down and find "Everything else" and click on it. Then click on "Information Products" then click on "Other" or if your ebook is a How To book click on "How To Guides" and then click on whatever your How to guide is. Click continue. You should be at the "Create your Listing" page. Begin filling in the required info. Try to have a picture or eBook cover pic to place in the add picture section.. You"ll get to a section that has three tabs Online Auction, Fixed Price and Classified Ad. Click on Classified Ad. Insert how much your eBook will costs, the duration and how you wish to be paid. And continue to finish out the creation of your listing. So now when someone pays you via PayPal, you can send them the link you created at MediaFire to get their eBook. If you want to use MediaFire to be your "Webspace" (or as the professional internet marketers say "host your product") for a lot of eBooks, you should upgrade from the free account to get more webspace better known as "bandwidth." Hope this helped and good luck! Oh! I almost forgot. eBay doesn't allow digital delivery for regular online or fixed priced auctions, which is why I gave you the instructions for classifieds. They do allow you to burn your product to CD and physically mail your product to the buyer with online or fixed priced auctions.
