What is the difference between opera mini and opera mobile?

Can Opera Mini history be viewed by the WiFi administrator?

• I downloaded Opera Mini for iPhone when it first came out, and ever since have been using it to check my Facebook at school via the school's WiFi (you have to login in Safari with a username and password). Due to restrictions on the network, and school computers for that matter, the Facebook app and mobile site do not work. However, in Opera Mini, Facebook Mobile does work. I found that Opera Mini had a built in proxy that allowed me to access ANY page or website using their connection, so long as I stayed in the app. I also learned that the proxy data is sent to Linux servers, and then sent back to me in a mobile-formatted webpage, encrypted so that no one else can view my accessed sites besides my specific browser. My question is: Can the WiFi administrators view the sites I have accessed, or somehow obtain those encrypted packets? Specifically Facebook passwords and data? Or will the encryption hide this information from them? The reason I ask is because my school has been suspending students for posting on Facebook during school using their WiFi. However, there is no other way to access it besides manually setting up proxies, which I have done before as well, but to limited success. Thank you for your time :D
