How to get IE8 back? installed IE9 and hate it?

How can I get rid of Internet Explorer 8? I hate it and I want to go back to IE 7?

  • So I installed IE8 today, and I regret doing it. It sucks. How can I get IE 7 back? I would like some steps to getting rid of this crappy thing, and go back to IE7. I tried to re-install 7, but it gives me a message sayin that a newer version is detected. SOME HELP PLEASE..

    if you have xp uninstall internet explorer 8 from the list of programs in programs and features if you have vista go to control panel,click uninstall programs and then on the left panel click on View installed updates.you will find internet explorer 8 on the list and you can uninstall it from there. i agree that ie8 is pretty messed up!!

go to control panel, then click add or remove programs. Find internet explorer and click remove or something like that and it should go back to the previous version that was installed. This is if you have win XP.

Try a systems restore. Start- All Programmes-Accessories-Systems Tools-SYSTEMS RESTORE. Click it. It will come up with a calendar & some dates. Hopefully it will show you the date before you installed IE8. Click that & it will take your PC back to that date.
