Where can I buy a good ATV for a cheap price?

If an ebay item has a buy it now price and an option to bid, can the highest bid exceed the buy it now price?

• There's a computer I'm interested in on Ebay. It's Buy it Now price is $265, but bidding starts at just $170. Nobody has bid on it yet and bidding ends in an hour (yay!). But say someone does bid on it--will the buy it now option still be there? And can I just bid the price of $265--if nobody else bids, I get it for $170, but if people continue to bid I definitely have the item because I bid the "buy it now price? If that's not how it works, how does it work? I've bought tons of stuff on Ebay before but I've never bid on something that also has the option to buy it now. Thanks!

  You take the risk if you put in a bid that the price could go above the buy it now! Buy it now will disappear if someone bids and it becomes an auction. If you wait to bid there is a chance someone will swoop in and "buy it now". If no one has bid yet take a risk. you might get it for a bargin price.
