What are good ways to get the "Last Second Bid" on eBay successfully?

EBay sellers. Do you get time wasters too?? (ie. those who bid then change their mind a minute later)?

• This may be more of a rant rather than a question.... but WHY BID IF YOU DONT WANT TO BUY! I have been buying off eBay for years, but only recently have i started to sell and out of maybe 10 items ive sold, 4 bidders have made up excuses as to why they cant pay or just never made contact. For those of you who sell on eBay, is this pretty standard? Do you get a lot of time wasters too or is it just my bad luck?

  Yes you do get lots of time wasters on eBay. You see the thing is you don't realise how many sad and troubled people they are out there until you actually have to start dealing with them. For some of those sad people that enjoys messing people about, they really have nothing better to do, so the try and spoil it for everybody else.
