How to get rid of the bloody Chinese pages when starting browsing the Internet?

Exactly how much internet data is 60kb worth?

• Im thinking of going on Optus' tlk and txt for 4 less plan but I see a downside to the low prices and free messages is that they dont really have much data included. The standard charge is $1.32 for every 60kb. I know this is fairly bad value compared to other mobile internet allowances on other plans, but I really dont use much. I have an iphone which I mainly use for talk and text, and 95% of time I'm within access of a computer which has internet. The only time I would use my phone is to check a map of my location (if I get lost while travelling) or an occasional facebook browsing (no photos, just to check out comments etc). I really have no idea how much data that would be worth - could somebody please simplify it (ie, roughly how many maps or internet pages would I be able to view for 60kb?)   I see well that depends on the website, service etc. Email won't take up allot of Kbytes but when you talk about websites, they grown fat and heavy these days. A simple nice banner easily can be 15-20kb. Yup 1/3th of that allowence So it is pretty much unusable!
