If I post things on ebay, once someone buys them, will I get the money right away? Or ... ?

Or will I not get it until they receive the item? I'm trying to do some quick sales on ebay since I really need money & I'm curious if I'll get the money before they receive the item? I don't wanna wait a week after an item sells...
Answer:

You never send the item before you get payment. That is how it is done. They will get an end of auction notice from ebay saying they won and they can go pay then or you can send them an invoice from the auction page (or your my ebay page showing all ended) as well.

No. I have bought something and asked the buyer if I could wait about a week till I had the money and they said that it was fine. But they don't have to pay for it right away.

You will get the money once they pay for it on their end through Paypal and then it processes into your account. You don't have to wait until they get it.
