How do i take pics with my web cam?

What is a good site for sending Web Cam footage through for free?

• Right now my fiance and i are an ocean apart. Will be a few months still before i can go to see her because of the retarded Canadian customs officers deporting me the first time i tried to go there. lol They barred me from entering the country for 1 year and well i would like to see her again as it has been quite a while since she was able to send me a picture. She does not have a camera to send pics but has a web cam. It however can not take still frames and I can not use skype or anything like that which requires newer software then i have on the comp i currently use. I can not add more software to this comp so would like to find a good web site that she can send footage to and i can go through that to see her. I am using Linux and Mozilla Firefox 8.04 so should be compatible with those. Any site will do, just need one that is free to use for both of us and is guaranteed to be private if you know what i mean. wink wink lol. Nahh, she just does not want anyone else being able to patch into the same web cam footage. I've tried looking but can not seem to find one that does not require membership of some sort.   I am not aware of any services that will work on linux, however https://www.freescreensharing.com offers a free "webinar" type service where the presenter could share their webcam view (vs. Powerpoint slides) and the callers are connected via phone line. This is a free service and includes conference calling services at not charge!!)
