Prevent Yahoo from thinking that I want to use its search bar (auto-finding text fields in Firefox)?
-
I use Firefox, with Yahoo as my homepage and Google in the built-in Firefox search bar in top right. Whenever it loads and I attempt to use Google in the Firefox search by pressing ctrl+K, it navigates me up there for a few seconds until the Yahoo homepage search bar hijacks my text to use in its own search engine. I can usually get a few characters off before it takes a few more ctrl+K taps to get back to Google. Any ideas? Is there a way to disable Firefox from auto-finding text fields, perhaps in Firefox's about:config? Or any other ideas? Thanks. :)
