Where I can I find a reliable free domain name?

I have a .net domain name, but I need a free host. Where can I find a good one?

• Whenever I search for one I only find those that give you a free host when you bye a domain from them, but I already have a domain. Also do you know if I make the site on somewhere like a .tk website, can I transfer that into my own domain? Pleaseee help.

  If you're going to invest in a domain name and the building of a website, you will do much better by purchasing web hosting. Sites built on free hosting accounts aren't given much (if any) credibility by the search engines. If you want people to visit your website, you'll have to play nice with the search engines and give them what they want. You can get hosting for such a low price these days that it makes no sense at all to go with a free host. (Check out HostGator.com for reliable, low-cost hosting.) If you will have any affiliate links on your website, you should be especially wary of free hosting. Many free hosts will steal your affiliate commissions. If you insist on going with free hosting, you can always forward your domain name to your website on the free host. Some hosts will tell you how to do this, but if not, then your registrar will give you info on how to do it.
