Can someone with a pc virus give someone else the virus through messaging? my laptop got a virus from myspace email....a trogen/worm that really messed up my laptop....right after i got the virus i went to myspace IM skype to tell people i had a virus...then yesterday i emailed someone on my myspace from my phone which my phone doesnt have a virus.....can those people i msged on IM get the virus???

It is possible to get a virus, if your internet is open to other computers it could get infected, but if you have a good virus scanner this would be no problem.

You cant get it through simple messaging, there has to be a link that you click on or attachment or something of the sort. Virus' are enabled by the user. Just never click on a link in an email or message unless you fully trust and know what it is. Also get an Anti virus program like Avira or AVG.
