Why does my laptop keep losing the internet connection?

Why do I keep losing my internet?

Any ideas why I keep losing my internet connection out of the blue? It's happend on two different computer and two different services. Right now I have Comcast with a Win7 desktop. I just loose the connection. There is no rhyme or reason to it. I am assuming it is some kind of software issue. My wireless laptop and iPad work just fine. I literally have to delete the network card in Device Manager and let it reinstall to get my network back. Reseting the Winsock sometimes helps, but not always. ANY ideas what software could be interefering? Thanks!

ISP, we had Comcast for a while, we lost connection like you did though it got worse, soon it becsme the other way (connection for a few minutes a week) We cpmplainedcontinuously, guy showed up the first few times (on time) last time he didn't come at all; This is why I will always avoid Comcast
