Windows explorer stopped working in vista?

Internet explorer stopped working when windows live installed - Vista?

  • Hi, We have a client that is running Vista, They have installed windows office live on there system which has resulted in not being able to get on the internet. Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be so I can fix it without leaving the office? The client can ping external addresses such as google. thanks

  • Answer:

Perfect! You have now disabled a crap browser, now install a good one. Firefox: http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/ Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome Seriously, don't thumbs me down because I didn't tell you how to fix internet explorer. These two browsers are (in my opinion) the best two out, they are both extremely secure (unlike internet explorer), fast (unlike internet explorer), have good memory management (unlike internet explorer) and offer a wide range of good extensions (unlike internet explorer). I really recommend you switch the browser for your client. Edit: These should enable internet access again, if you can ping an external address then the internet works, the browser doesn't.
