Can bad weather cause internet issues?

Why does my internet connection keep disconnecting?

  • I have both phone and DSL internet through verizon. It didn't start acting up until I started to download a movie onto my iPod. It recently snowed outside, so it may just be the line or something. But not only is the internet turning on and off but the phone isn't working either (not a big deal since I've got magic jack as well :P ) So basically.. did downloading the movie cause my Internet connection to not work properly or is it just the weather outside? And a rough guess of when it'll be working again would be appreciated :)

    its probably the weather, ur internet & phone should be working a couple hrs or days after the snow

Press F8 while your computers booting up to enter safe mode. Then select Last Known Good Configuration.
