Why won't IE save my addresses?

Firefox & IE Can't save period?

• I've had Firefox for about 2 years or so, but about a week ago i was unable to save any pictures, download any files, nothing. The problem persists in internet explorer as well which typically when i look for help on this subject people can still use IE to save files while having this problem. Here is what happens For a picture: Right click, Save Image as... - Nothing happens. I checked my Downloads window, under tools, and nothing is there (except my old downloads) I have also checked my download folder for these files, They are not there. Here is what happens for a download: *click download* *window pops up* *click save as* - Nothing happens. What's going on? How can i fix this?
