Can my pictures be used for ads?

QUESTION ABOUT PUTTING PICTURES UP ON CRAIGSLIST ADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

  • this is my first time using craigslist, and i have a couple of things i want to sell i took pictures of them using the camera on my cell phone (i dont have a digital camera, and cant borrow one, so please dont bother suggesting it) and sent the pics to my email, and then saved the pictures onto my computer but when posting the ad with the pics it took FOREVER (like more than 4 minutes) so i just canceled out and didnt post it i think it was because the pictures are too big so my question is... how do i make the pictures smaller??? i have some computer knowledge, but not much really and no fancy programs on my computer help!!! thanks!!

    Use the GIMP. http://www.gimp.org A free, full-fledged graphics application. You can load up the existing image and save a copy with some compression to make it smaller.
