EBAY and SHIPPING CHARGES?

• I am having a problem on eBay. With the shipping charges to be specific. My shipping charges are drastically limited for some reason. Example: I was selling a PS2 system on eBay. It would cost about $15 to ship in a medium flat rate box. Ebay will only let me put in $3.00 for shipping!!!! Now I can't just list it with $3 shipping. I am not some rich person that can afford to smack hits on shipping. I need to have the exact cost of the shipping of the item, plus $3.00 for confirmation and supplies. It does this on practically every single item I list on eBay. Now I can't use calculated shipping, because that requires you to run to the post office every day to weigh and measure and get updated rates to each city, blahblahblah, which I have no time to do. I just put in the cost of the shipping in the description, in big bold letters so the stupid people on eBay can read it. But then they accuse me of running a scam and one of them tried to report me to eBay for fraud! Is there anyway to keep this from happening or to resolve this problem?
