Real player "download this video" button?

Why won't my internet explorer let me download flash player?

  • I have internet explorer and try to get on youtube and watch videos (or any type of video on any website) and i can't watch it because it says i don't have adobe flash player. so i go on the adobe website to download it and when i click the download button nothing happens. nothing pops up and the activate X thing doesn't pop up either because this stupid bar is up at the top that says "internet explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled" its really annoying and i don't know how to make it go away. PLEASE HELP?

  • Answer:

    1. Right-click the IE icon on the Start Menu, choose Properties. Go to the Shortcut tab. In the Target field, if "-extoff" is at the end of the path to iexplore.exe, edit it out leaving "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" (leave the quotes.) 2. Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> check "Enable third-party browser extensions."
