How do I get nice themes for Tumblr?

HOW DO I GET COOL THEMES FOR MY TUMBLR?

  • hello :) I just made an account couple days ago and I have no idea how to get those cool backgrounds that some ppl have like apparently you click on the person that made it and you'll see themes? but all i see are pictures :( can someone please help me:(

    Hey! Here is a great place to get your layouts there are tonnes to choose from! http://www.tumblr.com/themes/recent A lot of people will be using these though so what it's best to do is install one (by clicking on it and pressing install. You must be logged in to your Tumblr to do this) and customizing this. To do this you have to install the theme you like, click on your blog (www.YOURURL.tumblr.com) and click on the top right button that says 'customize' next to the dashboard button. A bar will come up at the left and allow you to change the theme to make it suit your blog! here you can change the colour, layout and font. you can also add your information and if you want to you can add a nice background image (some themes allow this but some don't) so make it more unique!
