How to download without having the browser open? I'm using FireFox 4.01 at the moment, i want to download something from the internet (with a url address) but once the download has started i want to close Firefox so my girlfriend cannot see what i'm downloading. I've tried just closing the firefox download status bar, but since firefox is running she can go to tools---> downloads and the status bar comes back. I tried using a download manager but getright doesn't work with some of the sites i'm downloading from. Will Opera or any other browsers or programs work for me?
