How do I create an rss feed for my static website?

Are there any websites where can upload stuff on a rss feed?

  • Near the beginning of December, I uploaded a podcast to a website called podomatic. I worked pretty good, however I could only add 500 mb to the website unless I go PRO and I would have to pay. I can't pay so I ignored that. Then I went over my bandwidth limit but it was supposed to reset a few days after that. Once it reset, a day later, I was full again. So I was wondering if there was another website I can use that I can create a podcast and rss feed without a bandwidth limit or storage limit?

  • Answer:

I'm not sure how you are setting up your podcast but since a podcast is just a URL in an "enclosure" tag to an audio or video file uploaded/hosted somewhere and the actual RSS feed itself are very small files. Use places like Youtube for video, iTunes for audio and tons of other audio/video sharing sites. Upload your episodes (no bandwidth limits the file runs from their servers) and all you need is to update and host your tiny rss feed somewhere.. Hope that helps a bit.. .
