Why does my laptop turn off randomly?

Why do I have to reset my wireless box everytime i turn my laptop on for my internet to work?

• When I turn my laptop on it says I am connected to my wireless network but when I try and use the internet it says the page cannot be displayed. The only way I seem to be able to fix this is to turn my wireless box off and on. However everytime I turn my laptop off and on I have to do the same with my wireless box. This has only recently started happening, it was fine the other week. Over the weekend i did take my laptop away and connect to some other networks so this might have changed some settings but i cant work out what. Any help would be great. Thanks
