What exactly is Bit Torrent ?

Can we download any software or games free from Bit torrent, and what is the difference between Bit Torrent and µTorrent, and which one is better? I try to download both from there sites but installation file says it is not valid win 32 application what could be the problem? Thank for your answers...

BitTorrent bought uTorrent some time ago and since then the two are identical bittorrent clients except for their names. I have not seen it in a while, but there was an issue with Internet Explorer messing up the download. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=67400

BitTorrent is the program to download from P2P sites.
well it is very illegal to do,but i would choose utorrent and btjunkie.org if i had to. i dont do it but if i did i guess that program and site are the best.
What kind of computer do you have? bit torrent and utorrent are almost the same. you can download torrents and take files from other people's computers. If you have a mac you should use vuse. If you have pc, make sure you have administrator privilages. If it still doesn't work, I can't help you with that.
