Is pirate bay going to survive?

Well I am from Serbia and here we don't have paypal so I can't buy movies, games... I have to download them from pirate bay. But I heard there is a new law that is shutting down every pirate site. So is pirate bay going to live, and if not how long will it stay operational?

well, if ACTA actually comes through and stays, im sure people will find a way around it, pirate bay is very hard to get rid of, i love it. but, i doubt these laws are gonna stay long, people will protest the hell out of them, but if they do, people will work around it, somehow...

Not if ACTA is approved later on this year ( either june or july cant remember which one) then it will be shut down and nothing can be done about it.
your are right i am studying that and i think there will always be pirate websites. only if they have good lawers. Utorrentz do
Pretty near certain that pirate bay ill eventually be closed. They can obviously force the closure of huge websites like Pirate Bay and others. The difficulty may well be in closing all the small sites that spring up to replace them.
