    The key is promotion! If you mean a blog like Tumblr, use word of mouth, tell your friends to tell people, and ask them to visit it...the people who visit it and like it will eventually tell more people and so on and so forth. You can also send out emails and facebook invites to your friends and have them send it out to their friends..Hope this helps! :)

have a clear focus on the blog. maybe adding a few current events also follow other peoples blogs that are similar to yours, it will encourage them to look at yours. dont spam. dont make spelling errors, people are turned off by that. (ignore my spelling) try to make small prize events. (person that comments most in 1 week is mentioned in your blog or something)

try to think about people who could actually like the blog. start with friends, family, people you know. don't give the link to random people on the internet, like you just did.
