What is wrong with my Internet Explorer?

What is wrong with Internet Explorer on my pc??? Please help....?

• On Explorer (7), the blue info bar at the top is now completely blank (apart from the 'e' logo), as is the info bar at the bottom. I can no longer download anything either- I have tried to get Mozilla firefox ect.... I cannot download photo's from emails ect. I have done a system restore, but I get the message 'system restore did not complete, no changes have been made to your computer'. When I go into Add or Remove Programs, the 'internet options' button does not work any more either.. I fear I have buggered it up more by fiddling around when I dont really know what I'm doing... Stupid, I know. Please can anyone help? Thankyou for reading, Mia

  instead of "us" the helpers telling you how to repair your computer it would be far better if you got a friend that knows something about computers to come around to your place and fix it for you because you are only bound to mess it up even more if we tried to tell you.. if you have tried using other browsers and you still can't get the computer to work the way it should then what I would do is to re-install the operating system should take around 45 minutes to install and a little bit longer for the updates plus all the drivers to be downloaded all this is done for you so you don't have to look for anything all you have to do is be there for the occasional question that might appear on the screen when installing and receiving the updates. good luck with this and safe computing.
