Why do my emails not sending right?

Can't log in to Neopets, emails not sending?

  • So my main account was recently hacked or something, and so I believe Neopets froze it before anyone could do any damage to it. I recently got it unfrozen so I logged in, changed my password, and started playing again. When I logged out, I couldn't log in again, and I was absolutely sure I was typing the right password (I even looked at the keys on the board to make sure). I've sent tons of emails to my email account to try to get my password, and even tried to get my username back, but I'm not getting the emails (and yes, I'm sure it's the right email account). I can log in to my side account (except for my second side account because I forgot the password for that one, and since the emails aren't sending I can't retrieve my password). I've tried logging in from different browsers, deleting my cookies, sent a ticket (which will probably take forever for them to respond). None of the methods are working. I replied and sent a message on the ticket regarding my almost hacked account (as explained in the first and second sentence), about this logging in problem but this was what the ticket said: Hi _______________! A solution for your issue has been suggested. Hi, Are you still unable to log back in? I would suggest checking your junk folder for the email. It notes you changed the password soon after you got back in. There really isn't much I can do from this point on. SO helpful he is.... And yes, I STILL want to play Neopets, please do not tell me to quit. I know the site is not very high quality anymore, but I still love the site. Please give me your insight on this, if you have any. If someone here can help me solve this ridiculously frustrating problem, I wish I could give them 1,000 points.

    First, no judgments here! I believe that you should enjoy Neopets for however long you like-regardless of your age. :D Have Fun. I read your entire question and comments--Twice. I think the problem may resolve itself. Please read this quote from your question: "Neopets froze it before anyone could do any damage to it. This tells me that Neopets returned control to you but after you changed the password--Neopet's Data Base did NOT update the New Password Change simultaneously. Sometimes, on Sites where there is a large membership. PW changes and resets may take several hours to Sync with Server Data Base(s). In other words--you receive an Invalid PW or Login when you know with absolute certainty everything was entered correctly. I suggest. You wait 24 hours then try to login again. If no success--Try the Support Ticket(keep in mind it is the Weekend) Method again. A response will probably be much quicker and ultimately as the previous answerer suggested. If nothing works...Make a New Account. Good Luck.

Oh, I love Neopets too! haha even though I'm almost 18, I still think it's cute to play it every once in a while~ Hmmm, maybe you were hacked again? That's my thought...Sorry. :( I think you should just try to make a brand new account again, if you still can't log back in after a few times, and if you can't get your old account back. Or, you could try to reset your password/log in~that might help! :) I hope it works out for you.. Good luck!
