How can I make Internet Explorer the Default Browser on my laptop?

Mozilla firefox is currently the default browser but when I was carrying out an installation a message popped up that Internet Explorer must be the default browser before the installation can be done

Open Internet explorer go to tools then Internet optins on the programs tab check the box in the first row.

Mozilla firefox is currently the default browser in ur laptop because u have chose it as default while installing it . so u need to decide that while installing it .if u r having problem by Mozilla firefox then u may uninstall it and automatically Internet Explorer will be ur default web browser.
Assuming you're using IE9 -> Open Internet Explorer -> click on the tools icon at the top right (looks like a sprocket,) or use Alt+X -> Internet Options -> Programs -> Click "Make Default" button.
go to Tools (Alt+ x) then go to programs tab. click internet options. then go to programs tab. then you will see a button "Make default".
