Why isn't my browser working?

My mozilla firefox browser isnt working...plz help!?

  • the firefox browser im using is displaying a "page cannot be displayed,connection was reset" message and isnt downloading any page. i downloaded the latest version of it just yesterday..in firefox if i click near the address bar,its showing that the present site is not encrypted..i use the campus wifi connection.its not a problem with the signals as the chrome browser is fine.can u please tell me as to what went wrong so suddenly and what to do..

If Firefox isn't working but Chrome is, it's possible your Firefox profile has become corrupt. Export your bookmarks, and then follow these instructions to create a new fresh profile: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager Once you have your new profile, import the previously exported bookmarks.

Rick click the wi fi properties and check the connection with the utility(assuming you use windows.) firefox sux, use opera.

Download Google Chrome, install it, go to Control Panel, add/remove programs, uninstall Firefox. Best of luck.
