Can you help me with European history?

I have a complicated problem with deleting my IE browser history on Windows vista, can anyone help?

  • I have Window's vista and I'm not the administrator (though i know the password) and I usually delete my browser history for safety precautions and a way to get out of the blame for viruses when downloading free software that i enjoy using. I use CTRL + SHIFT + DEL and use that option, but my browser history still shows up (temporary internet files) - i'll delete everything, but my browser history still shows up and you can access every site i've been too for the past however long it's been like this. What can I do to change this? I have the master password and can access anything the administrator can, so nothing is out of bounds.

Don't just clear your history, clear your temporary internet files & clear your cache/cookies. What antivirus are you using? I would suggest Microsoft Security Essentials, I love it. I hope this helps!

When you are finished browsing and before closing your internet browser - at the top of the page look for Tools >Click on Tools > Then Internet Options > in the General Tab click on Delete > Tick boxes: Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, History & Form Data. (NOT PASSWORDS leave it unticked) Then Click Delete. Jobs done.

(Charn is a moron) You should delete your temp. internet files instead of just your history. Your history won't delete the stuff that can still be found after. I also believe that IE has a private browsing option.
