Iphone Internet problem?

Hi, I have an iphone 4 on pay as you go. I have a tarriff where i get unlimited texts and 500mb of internet when I top up. So my problem is I keep getting this message : Message from WAP: O2: Sorry, you've used the maximum amount of data allows today. You can use your phone for data again after midnight tonight. By keep getting, I mean getting EVERY 10 seconds. so i literally cant use my phone because the message is constantly on the screen! Is this an internet problem or a phone network problem, I dont know who i need to speak to... my internet provider or my phone company? also I'm at home so my phone should be using my internet which im using to post this question so thats working! and not 3G but im still getting the message. so does that mean if i get credit on my phone it will just go straight away coz my phone isn't connected for some reason or should the message go when i top up? I have £1.77 credit. Thanks to anyone who even reads to the end of this let alone puts forwars an answer!!

Answer:
A 500MB allowance is not very much and can soon be used up - hence the constant warning. That is from your phone's 3G network. When you are at home you need to ensure the phone is using your home WiFi connection to use the Internet so you are saving your 3G credit for when you are out and about. The WiFi is configured from the WiFi section of the iPhone's Settings.
