How can I start internet connection in Windows Mobile?

Hello, I would greatly appreciate some help with this internet connection problem?

  • In the past months, I've asked several questions very similar to this one and I don't want to lay a sob story on you but you have NO IDEA how much I can't stand it when this happens and how much I want this problem fixed. I have a Dell PC with Windows Vista Basic. At seemingly RANDOM times, whenever I start up the computer and try to get on the Internet, it tells me that I am not connected to the Internet. And whenever I try to re-establish a connection it of course say Windows failed to reconnect and it can't identify the problem. I will have to restart the computer like 3 times or more before it will let me get onto the internet. Can someone PLEASE, PLEASE tell me how to stop this from happening? I have DSL (with a little black box that is connected to a phone jack and my CPU). Can someone PLEASE tell me how to stop this from happening or how to fix it when it does? If you need any more information, you can look up the other questions I've asked about things like this and they will cover everything! Thanks so much for answering in advance!!! :)!!!! And yes, this does seem to happen at RANDOM times and I CAN'T STAND IT!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

  • Answer:

Your number one problem is using a dell and vista. Beyond that, you may want to look into your router, which is usually the culprit in these situations. Try rebooting it and your DSL modem on occasion, and see if that helps.
