How to clear your toolbar?

How do I clear the toolbar history in Firefox?

  • When I click on clear history, which is under tools, only the stuff I typed into google is cleared. But if I start typing an address in the toolbar all the websites I've previously visited come up. How can I get rid of that too? Thanks :)

  • Answer:

What version of Firefox you are using? Anyways, I think you haven't cleared everything, in my Firefox 4, clicking Clear Recent History, it gives me options what to clear, maybe check that again on your Firefox or try updating yours. Also, maybe the websites that are coming out in your address bar are your bookmarked websites. I think that's how address bar works. Like to try online job?
