What is your browser cache??? and How do I clear it?

I am having problems with twitter and I contacted twitter and they said the problem should be fixed if I clear my browser cache... sorry if this is a dumb question but what is a browser cache and how do I clear it?? Just in case you wanted to know the problem with twitter is I use to have my tweets showing up on my facebook and last week they stopped posting to facebook and the app was removed on both my facebook & twitter and I tried reconnecting the apps but it says facebook was having a problem..

Clear your browser's History.. this is reffered as cache i.e it includes websites visited history, cache, cookies and other stuff... So clear/delete whole history and problem will be resolved... For deleting history/cache: Open browser --- main menu ---- Internet options (look for clear browsing data or internet history).
