How to setup a forum with own website name?

  • I want to setup a website for a car club but have very little knowledge about setting up a website. What steps so i need to take to do this. I want the website to look professional and happy to pay. I also want just our own website name without any other stuff added onto the domain. Do i just need to buy a domain from any domain site and then download some forum software or is there more to it than that?
