How do you delete your search history on a mobile phone?

i have a samsung stride phone and i want to delete my phone's web search history..everytime i type something in my old search history be poppin up..its irritating! how do i delete it? i tried toclick on history on the home page but it wont click..it only clicks on the En espanol option,bookmarks, and the rss option, it wont click on history. i really need to delete this history and fast. how can i do it?HELP ME ASAP!!
