On internet explorer, I just want to type in the home page in the address bar and not see full address?

For example when I type www.yahoo.com in the address bar that's all I want see being typed in. I don't want to see the full address like www.yahoo.com/answers/question/ask/.....… Thanks

you can delete your cookies and history if you want to. just removes everything you typed in-like your name, your passwords, websites you've visited. or just type www.yahoo.com and whatever it shows after .com just delete it and then press "Enter". to delete your history, on internet explorer click on Tools at the top where File is and then select Delete Browsing History
