Can you use a digital Camera as a webcam (cannon digital rebel xsi)?

Can you use a digital Camera as a webcam (cannon digital rebel xsi)? I have the cannon digital rebel but I do not own a webcam. I recently discovered oovoo which allows you to video conference with other people. I am not able to buy a webcam soon but I was wondering if the digital camera would work. If you know how can you provide me with a turorial or website Thanks!

Unlikely. You need a camera that spits out live video over a USB connection, which the xsi does not.
