For "my internet explorer frequently says that the internet explorer cannot display the webpage?

when i work on internet, frequently i find "inernet explorer can not open the requested page", i disconnect and again connect to internet the page opens properly, for nearly every 10 to 15 minutes this happens . why? is the problem with IE or with my computer itself ? please advise. LakshmiDVS
