Do you think this is a scam on craigslist?

I'm trying to sell my treadmill, so i posted an ad on craigslist to try to sell it. i'm selling it for $300. a couple hours later this guy emailed me saying he was interested. this is what he told me, and i dont know if i should trust him or not? i heard you can easily get scammed on craigslist and more when it comes to money orders. well this is what he said: "Thanks for getting back to me..I still have interest in the item and I want you to get hold of it for me cos I told you that I want to get it for me son on his coming birthday as a surprise package..So I will like to see more pics of the item (if any) and I will like method of payment to be in Money Order...So as soon as you receive the check and Cashed it then my shipping company will come for the pick up of the item in your location.....So I will like to have the following list for the payment FULL NAME.......................... ADDRESS...............................… PHONE NUMBER............................. So that my financier can send you Money order for the payment and its available to cash in the bank or any cashing store around you.. I will be looking forward to hear back from you Regard" What you think i should do? Do you believe it's a scam?

"I told you that I want to get it for me son". Who is he, Popeye? lol Seriously, STEER CLEAR. Yes, this is a scam. The money order will be no good. But because of the nature of it, it will appear to be legit. Until a few days later when the bank says it's actually no good and reverses their honoring of it. I've seen this technique a few times, but it's usually used in scams where they want you to "cash" their money order, keep a hefty percentage for yourself, and send them the remainder. Of course, after you've done this, the bank finds out the money order is no good, and they call you wanting you to return the money you withdrew against it. Of course, you don't have that money because you sent it overseas. Bad times. I guess they also use this scam to purchase things too. Probably "buy" stuff with the fake money order then resell it.
any time they say item its fake
