Since I downloaded Internet Explorer 8, I have had problems with "browse" buttons.?

Since I downloaded the most recent Internet Explorer 8, my browse buttons on some websites are not working properly. Before I make any irreversible changes, would like some recommendations. I don't exactly remember when I downloaded it and already tried a system restore, but nothing improved.

Me too! I downloaded IE8 a couple of days ago ok my older Dell desktop (c. 2002). I found that an old 'add-on' from Roxio for a CD burner that I don't use was causing problems (Internet Explorer informed me... and gave me the solution: disable the add-on). However, like the others who have answered, Internet Explorer is not my preferred browser. Can I suggest that, as well as Firefox, that you also try Google Chome (really fast and very user-friendly for most things). Try Safari too. They are all easy to download and set up. You can always uninstall them if you don't like them.

Get Firefox. I've been using IE for so long I didn't want to try other browers. I used Opera for a while but that didn't do me any good. Then I started to use Firefox and I haven't looked back since. Trust me your better off using Firefox!
