How do you attach a folder to your email?

HOW DO I ATTACH A FOLDER 2 AN EMAIL?

  • HI EVERYONE, I would like to attach a folder (know how to do a file) but can't seem to attach a small folder i created from limewire for niece who is desperate for it. I know i go to 'my documents' - the folder and attach, but won't do it. p.s what size does it have to be? and what is the limit? Thanks

    You have to put it in a compressed folder... Download winrar http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm and install it. Then you right click on your files then click "add to archive" and then all you files are in the zip file, now you can send them through an email.

You must compress your file with something like winrar, peazip etc, and then attach it to your email. But, if the file is too big, it won't get delivered. You could try this if you have probs. http://www.freewarefiles.com/BeamFile_program_19601.html

Zip it (excuse me) use freeware such as 7zip - right click the file>7zip>add to "folder name".zip 7zip is free and once installed, just right click any folder to zip/unzip etc http://www.filehippo.com/download_7-zip/ you can send the zip file via email; or if it is a large file, upload it to senduit and send the download link via email - that way you don't clog up your emails server http://www.senduit.com/

My email won't do folders at all; it deals with only individual files.

You can't. You can only compress it into a zip format and then attach the zip file.

can you upload to limewire a folder ?

Sorry i don't think you can, only separate files.
