Why won't Tumblr video show on my Tumblr?

MY TUMBLR PHOTOS/USER ICON WON'T SHOW UP ON MY DASHBOARD?!?

videos show up, so do text posts, but i can't see the pictures posted by any of the people i follow or any user icons? i've tried clearing my browsing history, my cookies, and my cache(and i don't have pop-up blockers or stuff like that) and i just don't know why it won't work. i've tried restarting my computer, signing into my friends tumblr account on my computer to see if the pictures would show on theirs, and still no pictures. i tried it from other browsers(firefox, cause i normally use safari) and still NOTHING. i have a 2010 white mac-book if that helps anything. is it my internet connection or most likely a browser problem/tumblr overload or tumblr technical issue? i found another person posted this same question but nobody answered his yet but me saying i was having the same problem, so please help me! 10 points to best answer and i'll follow your tumblr, and be forever indebted to you! thank-you in advance.
