How to create a website? what are domains,servers,host? do i need them how was facebook and google made??help?

    To make a website, you'd need the following: a domain name a web host something to make the pages A web host is the company that owns servers. The servers is where you upload you're website and what makes it available for anyone else in the world to access you're website. For Google to function, they would need servers and if I'm correct, they have somewhere near a million servers. If you have the money then yes you can buy you're own server but that would cost a lot of money and time to maintain. Best solution is to find a web host. You can buy a domain name from a domain name registrar like Namecheap. When you move you're domain name to a different registrar for whatever reason you have like you found a cheaper registrar then that domain transfer. No not all websites are hosted by someone else but I'm sure that over 95% are because of the cost of owning you're own server.
