Can bad things happen if u make a webshow?

  • me and my friend were gonna make a webshow and my dad told me no i couldnt because he sid nutty peops were gonna hunt us down and hurt us. all the other parents agreed that its true and all the kids in the neighborhood think that no one will hurt us if we make a webshow. whats the true answer?

    Nono they cant really find you based on your picture or video as the case may be. Just be very careful not to use any personal details such as surnames, and locations. There are always alot of very odd people on the internet so be wary of that but they cant find you or hurt you based on your picture or video

depends on what information u put in ur web show. don't give name of city or school. or ur real names. don't communicate back and forth with somebody u don't know

Yes it is true. Unless you make it like iCarly but still people are crazy and can hunt you down. I wanted to make one but my mom said no too :(

tell him icarly gots a show, why cant you? Its not dangerous unless you give them things to find you,like your adress and or email.

bad things can always happen, even if you don't make a webshow. Maybe he was threatening you to say if you make a web show he will hurt you. . .

Well... there is a chance, but it's much less likely as long as you never say your last name, address, phone number, etc. on the air. You should be fairly safe if you never say those things. Even find a nickname so you don't have to say your first name if you can.
