How do i delete history on address bar on firefox?

okay, so i heard you can go on the link and press shift and delete. i do that and it goes away. then once i start typing whatever i deleted, it comes back up. i need to know how to delete all my history on my address bar. thanks so much. oh and please be specific. thanks :)

There's a tab at the top of the page and when you click it your history pops up you can delete each one. one by one or hit one hold the shift and then click the last one you wanted to delete and you'll delete from the last clicked to the first then hit delete and you're done
Tools>Options, look at Private Data box at the bottom. Hit Clear Now
