Is there a permanent fix for the FireFox Bad Request error?

Every time I start up my FireFox, I get the "Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit." error message. Deleting cookies works for that session, but the next time I get online, the issue comes back up. It's getting really annoying to have to re-remove my cookies each time I get online. I've removed cookies/cache, also uninstalled/reinstalled FireFox. Nothing has worked. I don't think it's a virus problem, but I'm not sure. Also, I have Vista. I don't know if it would cause the problem, but I've had issues with it doing funny things like this before. Any one have any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you!

There were many bugs for the Firefox version 3.5.1 , the version 3.5.2 just released, try to install the new firefox to see if it make any different.

That will remove all the cookies, so try to rename first, then you can undo if it doesn't work. If renaming the file(s) works then you can delete the no longer needed renamed files.
