Where can I publish a book online for free?

Did poetry.com publish a book of poems? If so where can I find this book and what is the name of this book?

  • My niece submitted a poem at poetry.com in 2004 and she received a letter saying that they were publishing a book and that her poem was going to be in that book. She sent back information to receive a book, but never got a response. To this day we don't know if the book was published or not and we also didn't get the title of the book.

    Unfortunately, poetry.com is a scam. There was probably no book. You can find more information around the internet. Recently, though, poetry.com was bought by Lulu, a print-on-demand company of great repute.

Poetry.com tried to get me, with the same ruse...so I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them!

It is a vanity publisher yes you can BUY the poem in a book but only if they get the money and all the rights and you will be buying the only copy of the book THAT INCLUDES the poem in it. They have no copies made until they sell one to you for a great profit margin. Plus they have spyware in their cookies. Clean your system out and forget about them because they are scammers and somehow legal because they word their media correctly.
